The digital model of the preform perpendicularity tester will help you to conduct the testing easily and accurately. The main unit of this testing machine consists of various essential components like dial gauge, adjusting knob, magnetic stand with on/off knob, base plate, footrest, high precise bearing, preform holder (sample holder). With the help of these components, you will be able to conduct the test accurately.

To commence the test without any failure, we have listed some essential steps that you should follow.

  • Place the Magnetic Stand on the base plate of the perpendicularity tester by the knob ON/OFF.
  • Adjust the dial gauge shaft on the rod according to the sample.
  • Mark 4 points on the preform in 360 degrees that the user needs to test.
  • Put the sample on the preform holder in such a manner that the gauge knob touches point 1 and presses up to 2 mm. At this point set the gauge to zero.
  • Now rotate the sample manually to point 2, if the reading remains zero it means the sample is perfectly perpendicular and if the reading increases or decreases it means it is not perpendicular.
  • Now rotate the sample to point 3 and then to point 4 and measure the deviation in the Preform perpendicularity (if any) from the digital gauge. If there is a deviation in the reading from one point to another, it means the preform is not perfectly perpendicular.

In this way, you can easily conduct the test with the help of this testing instrument. You can even give us a call or email us to get more information about this testing equipment.

The use of PET products like bottles or containers has been increased in the past few years. This material plays a very important role in the packaging industry for the production of various products. From pharmaceuticals to chemicals, drinks, and other industries, the use of PET products is vast. Therefore, it is very important to conduct various quality tests to deliver high-quality products to your customers. One of the major tests that need to be conducted for PET preform products is the perpendicularity test. This test can be conducted with the help of Presto’s Perpendicularity Tester. This testing instrument is incorporated with a basic turnable where the sample of the Preform is placed to revolve in accordance with the probe and to analyze the differences in the movements of the Preforms accurately.

It has been designed by the highly skilled technocrats of Presto to offer highly reliable results and to detect the least deviation from perpendicularity. The testing device is equipped with a digital counter to read the movements. The perpendicularity or uniformity of the materials should be tested thoroughly because it affects the quality of PET products. Thus, you should make sure that the preform product you manufacture should be perfect in perpendicularity. This factor will also help you in balancing your product perfectly. Thus, with the help of the Presto perpendicularity tester, you can verify the failures in the quality of bottles or containers. The Preform is shaped and sized to get the products like bottles and containers. The Preform manufacturers need to test the accuracy of the shape and size of Preforms using the Preform Perpendicularity Tester. The instrument ensures the best quality and ideal thickness of PET Preform products like containers and bottles.

With the help of this testing instrument, you will get reliable and accurate testing results. This well-engineered laboratory testing equipment will provide you with precise results and ensure that you deliver the best quality products to your customers. Presto designs and manufactures the Preform Perpendicularity Tester to check the thickness of the PET Preform. This testing device provides a precise result and ensures the best quality of the preform. The perpendicularity of the Preform is a primary aspect that could affect the quality of the final products. This testing instrument measures the least deviation of perpendicularity and comprises a digital panel to read in digital format. The least count is 0.01mm.
