Bursting Dual Head for Paper and Board

The Presto burst Dual Head Model is a newly launched laboratory testing instrument that is designed for measuring the burst strength of paper and corrugated board materials. The machine features two test heads that work in tandem to provide accurate and repeatable burst strength measurements.

This high-quality lab testing instrument has been designed is manufactured under various Test Standards ASTM D 774, ASTM D 774 4M-96A-Paper, TAPPI T 403 om-91 (Paper), T 810 om-92 (Corrugated & Solid Fibreboard), T 807 (Paperboard and Liner board), ISO 1060 PART-1 1996.

This testing machine operates by subjecting a sample of the material to increasing hydraulic pressure until the material ruptures. The pressure at which the material ruptures is recorded as the burst strength of the material.

With a single push-button operation, this instrument is easy to use and provides highly accurate test results under multidirectional force. The Presto burst Dual Head Model also comes with an optional printer port facility that can be used to generate printed reports of test results. This feature is particularly useful in quality control applications, where documentation of test results is essential.

This burst strength testing machine also has a test selection feature that allows users to choose between paper and board mode, making it a versatile tool for testing a wide range of materials. Optional Features:

Pneumatic and computerized models are also available (with or without a printer facility). The Bursting strength in Kg/cm² of the test specimen is displayed on the digital display. Thereafter bursting factor and burst index can be calculated by the user.
