The plastic rope is a universal product in commercial as well as domestic sector. They are known for their durability, strength and longevity as compared to fabric or rubber ropes. The most common and competitive segment of rope manufacturing today is its tensile inspection. Rope Producers are constantly making changes in the design and quality of ropes which in return impact the tensile strength of the material. Therefore, to produce innovative products without compromising its quality, high-precision quality control equipment is a must.
Presto brings Tensile Testing Machine – Computerised Model with brand name Zeus Ultimo for precise and advanced evaluation of breaking, tensile and compression strength. Suitable for a wide range of plastic materials, components and finished products. The machine test process is based on the principle of the Constant rate of extension (CRE). The equipment design is set as per various international test standards including ASTM D412, ASTM D429-73, ASTM D624, ATM D638-01, ASTM D76, IS 13360-5-7, IS 3400(Part1-1987).
The computerised model comes with an added advantage of connecting the system with your computer system. A software program given must be installed in the system (desktop or laptop) and the machine is connected using plugin systems. It offers a one-way communication, in which the test process and the results can be monitored live while the process is running. The running test cycle can be observed in graphical form on the system. Please note that the user cannot control the machine from the system. Test parameters like tensile force and time duration can be set using the digital control with a feather–touch buttons. The software allows the user to read, manage and save the test data. The data can be downloaded from the machine itself using the USB portal. The test report can be generated in Excel, pdf and graph form using the system software. Reports can be printed as well. Software-enabled features include graph setup, test control wizard, formulae and result calculations.
Strong clamping devices present in Tensile Testing Machine – Computerised Model for holding the specimen at the right angle and tight to ensure zero-slippage. Equipped with hi-tech load sensors with linearity feature and repeatability to detect even minute force modifications at fraction of seconds. Twin column structure for more strength and rigidity. Limit switches are installed for over travel safety. The user can experience a friction-less movement with hardened lead screws. Precise load cell calibrated by NABL approved dynamometers equipped in the machine to deliver uniform force application. The machine can be run in both auto and manual mode.
