The autoclave testing equipment has various applications in various industries like electronics, pharmaceuticals, biotech, production line up, etc. To operate this testing instrument efficiently, you need to first prepare and place the testing sample accurately. For this, you need to rotate the lever handle anticlockwise completely to open the door lock. Now press the foot pedal downwards to uplift the door. Once the door comes up, move the door anticlockwise and fill DM (Demineralized) water in the chamber until it reaches the red marked water level indicator. Place the sample that the user needs to test and rotate the door clockwise to close the door with the help of a foot pedal. Leave the foot pedal and rotate the lever handle clockwise to lock the door tightly. Ensure that the Pressure gauge regulator is duly closed this will maintain the pressure inside and help to see current pressure on the indicator.
Once you prepare your testing sample accurately, then you need to operate the machine. For commencing the test accurately, plug in the mains lead to an electrical socket of 3 pin-15 Amp configuration. Now turn ON the toggle switch and the Main Indicator will display a green light and the Control panel will also turn ON. Set the temperature values, sterilization time, dry time to complete the test. If you find any difficulty in conducting the test, then you can consult with our technical team of experts.

Presto’s Auto Clave is a very useful instrument widely used in the microbiology lab. The inner chamber of the machine is made up of stainless steel (304 grades), the outer body of the instrument is fabricated with thick stainless steel with the head made of mild stainless steel. The testing instrument is supplied with a pressure gauge which is provided along with the radial locking system. Safety measures are taken care of by incorporating safety devices for auto cut-off in the case of extreme temperature or pressure. It comes complete with a water level indicator and stainless steel basket.
An autoclave is widely used in research centers and laboratories to create sterilization requiring elevated temperature and pressure different from the ambient air pressure. Additional Options like hysteresis, purging, the proportional band is available for the optimization process.
Presto’s Auto Clave is a testing instrument used to sterilize various medical tools in microbiology labs, medicine, veterinary science, mycology, and dentistry, etc. It is a very useful instrument that is widely used in microbiology labs, plastic industry, and PET industry & in different production verticals. The inner chamber of the instrument is fabricated with 304-grade stainless steel material, and the outer body of the machine is designed with thick stainless steel material, and the head is made up of mild stainless steel material. The testing machine is provided with a pressure gauge along with the radial locking system.
The instrument is also provided with the auto cut-off facility while keeping in mind various safety measures to take care of extreme pressures and temperatures inside the chamber. The testing device comes complete with stainless steel basket and water level indicator. The pressure is released up to 20 Psi. The machine is equipped with a plug-in cord to work on 220 volts AC, 50 Hz, and single-phase power.
The main purpose of using this amazing testing equipment is to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 121 °C for around 15–20 minutes depending on the size of the load and the contents at maximum pressure level 2.1 Kg/cm2 or 30 psi. The sterilization occurs by three mechanisms: temperature, pressure, and thermal oxidation. The pressure will cause penetration of membrane walls of organisms, disrupting or breaking the walls, forcing the steam into them. The first step in the autoclave process is totally removing all of the air in the autoclave chamber. The chamber is sealed, and all of the air is removed through a vacuum pump, steam pumping, or steam pulsing. The air may also be forced out through downward displacement, using steam to force it downwards. Use always distilled water.
Thus, with the help of this lab testing equipment, you can easily perform the process of sterilization in Microbiology laboratories. It will offer safe, accurate, and reproducible results. It will also provide you with additional options such as Hysteresis, purging, proportional band, high temperature, etc. to attain the optimization process.
